Costa Rica and Panama Pics

Our first hotel in Turrialba, just after we arrived. Beautiful Hotel!

Getting ready for Canyoneering!

Watch out canyons, here we come!

Jack and I repelling down the first waterfall ever!

Zip-line action shot

Cheesin'

Scary Bridge about 100 feet above the river

Get it Amber, doesn't she look hardcore.

Jack looking hardcore

Looks like a banana tree, but it's not.

AAAHHHHHH!!!! What is it?

These plants were all over Costa Rica, like a pine cone. Water collects in the petals.

So happy that this waterfall is only about a ten minute hike from our awesome hotel in Turriabla.

Trying to climb the waterfall.

We are so glad to be traveling with our buddy Jack for his first time out of the U.S.

Watch out for the branch Jack!

We can't wait to start the rafting trip!

Amber took all of these pictures with the camera attached close to her side. Great shots babe!

Some of the steep canyons and lush jungle surrounding the Rio Pacuare.

Feelin' It!

Resting at lunch after some intense rafting.

Gainer!!!!!

Our guide Daniel doing a back-flip!

This is a picture of my favorite part of the river. You can see the rocks we jumped off on the left. Amazingly beautiful!

We are happy to be relaxing in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, on the Caribbean side of the country.

We were so excited to have the hostel right on the beach, about 100 yards from where we slept.

So the beach had a ton of coral right off the beach, but we found a deep swimming hole! Can you see the excitement in our eyes?

Drinking Crown on the beach!

Drinking Crown with the guy who turned me onto Crown. Thanks Jack!

Jack doing it up Costa Rica style!

Rockin' J's Hostel

Yeah San Fran shout out!

This is where we camped, the green tent is ours!

The Humboldt Crew. This guy was a comedian/magician from Humboldt county!

Our dinner with our friends from the hostel.

The owner J's master suite.

Just another day in paradise.

Chillin' with our buddy Gerard, who came to Puerto Viejo two months ago and never left!

The view from our swimming hole.

Nice shot Amber! Nice gainer Jack!

Looks like Jack is going straight into the rocks below, Ahhhhh!

Some more buddies on the path to town!

J's horses, Amber fell in love.

Sunset....beware of sand fleas!

Love this picture Amber. The light at sunset is amazing.

I had to relocate to the hammock in the later morning because it got so hot in our tent at night.

Playa Cocles, so beautiful!

PURA VIDA!

That looked like a rough wave Amber.

The water is so clear here.

Watch out for that wave.

We played in the waves for hours.

Our first sloth sighting!

A private beach that we found on the way to Manzanillo. So happy and in love. Sorry for the PDA, just had to share one. Plus the sun was to bright in our eyes.

Paradise! AHHH!

Can you spot the tucan?

The Manzanillo bar where we met some of the nicest locals yet.

The Manzanillo beach where there was a tsunami in 1991 and the water crept out until you couldn't see it anymore!

This shot is for you Duffy. Can you read the writing on the top. Puerto Viejo is filled with the rasta vibe.

The best bike ride ever, one of my most favorite days of the trip so far. I love to bicycle.

Trying to make it home before dark.

We made it to Bocas del Toro, Panama

Hot sauce with mustard in it!!!! How did they know, the perfect match for me!

The biggest bar stool ever, it made me feel like a little kid!

Our hostel over the water in Bocas del Toro. This was the party place to be, we only stayed one night.

Our new friend/bartender Richie on Ladies night!
